Interested in mentoring undergraduates? Application deadline for APSA mentorship program is Friday!

After its success last year, APSA's mentoring program is returning for 2015 and promises to connect MD or MD/PhD students with undergraduates in one-on-one mentor-mentee relationships. These relationships will be mutually beneficial; our professional students will gain valuable experience in mentoring, and undergraduate students will have willing and enthusiastic mentors who can guide them and answer questions about all aspects of physician-scientist training. They touched on topics ranging from their path to becoming a physician-scientist, the potential challenges that exist and how to successfully overcome them. It was a very informative, well-attended event.
