Career Conversations now live!

NEJM Group and NEJM CareerCenter in collaboration with the American Physician Scientists Association are hosting a six-part online series about the lives and careers of the physician scientist. These "Career Conversations” take place in the NEJM Group Open Forum on Medstro.com, the social network for physicians and medical students launches today! Interested in radiology? Apply for the ITAR program today!

We would like to invite you to apply to the RSNA Introduction to Academic Radiology (ITAR) program. As part of a collaboration between RSNA and APSA, two medical students will be selected to travel to the RSNA Annual Meeting in Chicago for this special 4-day seminar to be held from Nov 29th-Dec 3rd, 2015. A $1000 stipend will be awarded by RSNA to the selected students to offset travel and lodging costs. Applications are due on August 16th.  To be considered, candidates must be current trainees in an accredited MD or MD/PhD program and must demonstrate academic radiology interest. Register for the APSA Northeast regional meeting.

Registration for the APSA Northeast regional meeting is open and is available at the following website: http://www.physicianscientists.org/events/event_details.asp?id=649246. The meeting will feature two keynote speakers, Andy Minn, MD, PhD  from University of Pennsylvania, and the other is TBA. Registration is FREE for all attendees. There will be speaker opportunities for students and oral/poster presentation prizes. The abstract submission deadline is August 17
