The 2017 Cullen MD/PhD Research Colloquium & Career Development Workshop
Apply now for a travel award to the 2017 Cullen MD/PhD Research Colloquium & Career Development Workshop at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and Baylor College of Medicine January 13-14, 2017.
The Friday Translational Research Colloquium will deliver cutting edge translational research seminars from leading physician scientists and current MD/PhD students who will illustrate how state-of-the-art basic science research is conducted and rapidly translated to improve clinical and public health outcomes. It may be of special interest to undergraduates interested in MD/PhD programs who are considering a PhD in the biomedical sciences that involves dissertation research with a clear potential for a clinical or translational impact.
The Saturday Career Workshop has been specifically designed for current and prospective MD/PhD students. Topics include: how to put together to most competitive AMCAS application, career pathways after graduation, and how to balance your lab work, personal life and academics through the MD/PhD program, Residency, Fellowship and beyond.
There is no registration fee, but advance registration is requested.
