Success! Conclusion of the APSA 7th Annual Meeting!

The APSA 7th Annual Meeting concluded today with a luncheon together with residency directors from across the country (the perfect way to complete a successful meeting).  APSA members also gave oral presentations of their research to members of the ASCI, AAP, and APSA (after collecting their speaking awards).  We also handed out our APSA Poster Awards and heard from AAP President Dr. David Brenner.  APSA members also had the unique opportunity to listen and ask questions of our Post-Graduate Opportunities Panel, which included representatives from both government and industry.

This year's meeting was our most ambitious yet, featuring speeches from numerous Nobel Laureates, an incredible line-up of expert panels, poster sessions attended by accomplished physician researchers, travel and poster awards, endless networking opportunities, nightly outings, and more.  If you did not get the chance to join us this year, please consider traveling to Chicago next year for the APSA 8th Annual Meeting, April 27-29, 2012.  We also hope you will welcome our new APSA President, Ivayla Geneva!
