The American Association for Cancer Research Associate Member Council will host a session targeted at physician-scientist trainees at this year's AACR Annual Meeting in Washington, DC on April 19, 2010 (10:30 AM - 12:30 PM). Speakers and panelists for the session include Drs. Lawrence Brass, MD, PhD (University of Pennsylvania), Michael Caligiuri, MD (Ohio State University), Donna Hansel, MD, PhD (The Cleveland Clinic), Robert Ferris, MD, PhD (University of Pittsburgh), and David Weinstock, MD (Dana-Farber Cancer Institute).
This session features lectures and a panel discussion to provide more information on options for those considering the physician-scientist career path, including insight on the important factors that lead to a successful career as a physician-scientist, and varied perspectives on what one should expect to achieve during training and during the early careers in different environments and career sectors.
