Fourth Annual Attracting MD/PhD Students into Gastroenterology Workshop

Applications are now being accepted for the Fourth Annual Attracting MD/PhD Students into Gastroenterology Workshop to be held March 19 and 20, in Houston, TX. This program is designed to encourage future physician-scientists to pursue a career in GI through a series of lectures and interactive discussions that will emphasize the broad spectrum of GI research opportunities and demonstrate how gastroenterologists can cultivate their particular areas of research and interests, e.g., oncology, infectious disease, immunology, nutrition, geriatrics, gender impact, etc.. Full travel grants are available to selected students (deadline to apply is Nov.4). Accepted students will receive a free one-year student membership to AGA, as well as one-year subscriptions to AGA Institute’s popular journals Gastroenterology and Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
