South Regional Meeting
The American Physician Scientists Association has hosted a regional meeting in Texas since November of 2006 and has continued to hold and support this regional meeting.
2011 South
The 2011 APSA South Regional Meeting will take place on Nomber 5th, 2011 at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, TX.
2010 South
On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 3rd South Regional Meeting to be hosted at the Texas A&M Health Sciences Center on November 13, 2010. We look forward to hosting physician-scientist trainees from the South region and beyond.
2009 Texas
The 2009 Texas Regional Meeting will not occur in its entirety as in previous years. Instead interested trainees should plan to attend the joint APSA / AMA-MSS session at the AMA-MSS Interim Meeting in Houston, Texas (November 5-7, 2009). Since this year's Interim Meeting of the AMA-MSS is being held in Houston, TX in such close proximity of when the APSA Texas Regional Meeting, we have decided not to hold a full Texas Regional Meeting this year.
2008 Texas
On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 2nd Texas Physician Scientists Symposium to be hosted at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas on November 1, 2008. We look forward to hosting physician-scientist trainees from the entire Gulf Coast area.
2006 Texas
