On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 3rd New York Physician Scientists Symposium to be hosted at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, New York on November 21, 2009. We look forward to hosting physician-scientist trainees from the entire East Coast area.

Objectives:

Training and career development
Vertical and horizontal networking and mentoring amongst current and future New York physician scientist trainees
Discussion of issue relating to retention and recruitment of women physician scientists
