In conjunction with the Association for Clinical and Translational Science (ACTS) Annual Meeting, APSA's Policy Committee will present important new data from its Tomorrow's Physician initiative pilot. In addition, prominent PIs and heads of NIH Clinical and Translational Science Awards will review the latest translational research resources available, educational opportunities, ways to encourage and reach out to trainees, and advice for young trainees interested in translational research.

In conjunction with the Association for Clinical and Translational Science (ACTS) Annual Meeting, APSA's Policy Committee will present important new data on characteristics of future physicians and physician-scientists intent on careers in translational research from the Tomorrow's Physician initiative pilot. In addition to APSA's involvement, prominent PIs and heads of NIH Clinical and Translational Science Awards will review the latest translational research resources available, training/education opportunities, statistics on predoctoral trainees involved with translational research, ways they encourage/reach out to trainees to engage predoctoral trainees, and advice for trainees interested in getting involved with translational research.
