APSA Members Present Their Research to ASCI and AAP Members
Mr. Christopher Audu is an MD/PhD candidate at Dartmouth Medical School. He graduated in 2007 with highest distinction from Purdue University with a BS degree in Chemistry. During his undergraduate years, he led various academic groups and served as a mentor to incoming students. At Dartmouth, his research in chemistry is focused on drug development and design against BK virus, an infectious agent implicated in chronic kidney rejection post-transplantation. His work led him to receive the Dartmouth Arts and Sciences Graduate Student Alumni Award in 2010. Outside of his work with APSA, Chris presides over Dartmouth Ears – a patient-visitation volunteer organization co-founded by him and another medical student in 2009. Chris currently serves as Chair of the Finance Committee.
