Welcome to
the Social Science and Humanities (SSH)
MD/PhD Programs website!
This site
developed from a call by students and
applicants for a centralized place housing
all the information on SSH MD/PhD programs.
With the help of students throughout the
United States, we have gathered information
on ten SSH MD/PhD programs. For each
program, we provide an individualized
webpage written by a student or alum of the
program. The information is geared towards
applicants, with information focused on the
application process, program structure,
funding, affiliated graduate departments,
etc.
Elsewhere in the
APSA website, we will provide information on
residencies and post docs for SSH MD/PhDs,
job postings, a directory of SSH MD/PhD
students, extramural funding for SSH
training, interdisciplinary awards, and
more! These pages are currently in
development. If you have any ideas of
information that would be useful to you,
please write us at
ssh@physicianscientists.org.
We hope you find
this information useful and we look forward
to hearing your suggestions and comments!
Enjoy!

Humanities team at the American Physician
Scientists Association
